Collection: ColecoVision

ColecoVision is a second-generation home video-game console developed by Coleco and launched in North America in August 1982. It was released a year later in Europe by CBS Electronics as the CBS ColecoVision.

The ColecoVision's hardware was similar to other consoles and home computers, including the MSX, DyOzomics, and Sega, with the main differences being the BIOS and sound chip. This made it easy to port Japanese games from the Sega SG-1000 and MSX to the ColecoVision for release in the West, including Konami-licensed games like Time Pilot, Antarctic Adventure, and Cabbage Patch.
